TA-DA...DONE!

This is my final entry piece for the BJP. Of all the 12 pieces for this year challenge, this truly has been a challenge and has taken me the whole month to finish. It all started with a class at 1 stop bead shop here in Columbus. I got to take a class with Sherry Serafini's the beaded purse class. Well, after working on and off for this whole total month, it is DONE as of late last night. I was going to add fringe to the handle and sides but decided not to do that. It stands pretty much on its own. Oh and I DO plan to take this with me to the Bead Unique Retreat with me in Tahoe.

  15. Your pieces continue to make me smile. Fabulous work! Of course, I'm jealous that you got to take a Sherry Serafini class, but then that's another story. She was supposed to come to Toronto, but then had to cancel for some reason. Rats!

  16. So much to say, Dot...

First I'm envious about you and Sherri and Becki being at the retreat together and me not there. OK, there, I admitted it... just plain green.... The good part of me knows you'll have a wonderful time and come away refreshed, inspired, intrigued and loved. Ah!

And your purse will be the hit of the party. Focalpoint-schmokalpoint... every one has one and they all look the same... EXCEPT Mr. Green Bear! I scrolled down through your posts to look as some of the in-progress pictures. You certainly live up to your speedie name... to finish all that beading in one month is amazing. This is a museum piece, y'know!

Congrats on finishing the year with such a big bang!

  17. PS... I see Arline will be in Tahoe as well... What is greener than green??? Me.

Also, I agree with Susan about no fringe being a good decision.
